The perception of stress will vary from person to person, some stress is good for us, and in itself is not an injury, indeed it is imperative to our survival. Stress kicks off our fight-flight response when we are confronted with danger - without it our body wouldn’t ‘gear up’ to run away from that stranger in the dark alley.


However, when our stress response gets extended and cant be resolved quickly, there are serious negative impacts on us physically and psychologically.
